It is with great pleasure that we announce that our partners at Mt Abram have won the Golden Eagle Award in the small ski resort category.
The award is given annually by the National Ski Area Association (NSAA) to three ski industry leaders for their environmental excellence.
Mt Abram continues to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels and is an example of a ski area that puts the environment and community first.
In the medium-sized ski resort category, our friends at Stevens Pass took the honors. MRA recently visited Stevens and was impressed with their resort-wide sustainability initiatives. Congratulations to Ross Freeman and his team.
For the large resorts, Aspen took the award. Led by Auden Schendler, Aspen has been pushing the needle of environmental stewardship for corporate ski resorts for many years.
